{"id":25782,"date":"2017-09-30T16:28:16","date_gmt":"2017-09-30T22:28:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/30\/philemon-11-25-king-james-version\/"},"modified":"2017-09-30T16:28:16","modified_gmt":"2017-09-30T22:28:16","slug":"philemon-11-25-king-james-version","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/?p=25782","title":{"rendered":"Philemon 1:1-25 (King James Version)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-4647651612525789\"; \/* access2God_horiz_4_link_single_post *\/ google_ad_slot = \"7824248799\"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15;\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<strong>1<\/strong> Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer, <\/br><strong>2<\/strong> And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house: <\/br><strong>3<\/strong> Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. <\/br><strong>4<\/strong> I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, <\/br><strong>5<\/strong> Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; <\/br><strong>6<\/strong> That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. <\/br><strong>7<\/strong> For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother. <\/br><strong>8<\/strong> Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient, <\/br><strong>9<\/strong> Yet for love&#8217;s sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ. <\/br><strong>10<\/strong> I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds: <\/br><strong>11<\/strong> Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me: <\/br><strong>12<\/strong> Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels: <\/br><strong>13<\/strong> Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel: <\/br><strong>14<\/strong> But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly. <\/br><strong>15<\/strong> For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever; <\/br><strong>16<\/strong> Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord? <\/br><strong>17<\/strong> If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself. <\/br><strong>18<\/strong> If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account; <\/br><strong>19<\/strong> I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides. <\/br><strong>20<\/strong> Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord. <\/br><strong>21<\/strong> Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say. <\/br><strong>22<\/strong> But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you. <\/br><strong>23<\/strong> There salute thee Epaphras, my fellowprisoner in Christ Jesus; <\/br><strong>24<\/strong> Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, Lucas, my fellowlabourers. <\/br><strong>25<\/strong> The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
