{"id":26458,"date":"2017-09-30T16:35:35","date_gmt":"2017-09-30T22:35:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/30\/job-211-34-king-james-version\/"},"modified":"2017-09-30T16:35:35","modified_gmt":"2017-09-30T22:35:35","slug":"job-211-34-king-james-version","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/?p=26458","title":{"rendered":"Job 21:1-34 (King James Version)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-4647651612525789\"; \/* access2God_horiz_4_link_single_post *\/ google_ad_slot = \"7824248799\"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15;\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<strong>1<\/strong> But Job answered and said, <\/br><strong>2<\/strong> Hear diligently my speech, and let this be your consolations. <\/br><strong>3<\/strong> Suffer me that I may speak; and after that I have spoken, mock on. <\/br><strong>4<\/strong> As for me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should not my spirit be troubled? <\/br><strong>5<\/strong> Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth. <\/br><strong>6<\/strong> Even when I remember I am afraid, and trembling taketh hold on my flesh. <\/br><strong>7<\/strong> Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power? <\/br><strong>8<\/strong> Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes. <\/br><strong>9<\/strong> Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them. <\/br><strong>10<\/strong> Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf. <\/br><strong>11<\/strong> They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance. <\/br><strong>12<\/strong> They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ. <\/br><strong>13<\/strong> They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave. <\/br><strong>14<\/strong> Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. <\/br><strong>15<\/strong> What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him? <\/br><strong>16<\/strong> Lo, their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me. <\/br><strong>17<\/strong> How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger. <\/br><strong>18<\/strong> They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away. <\/br><strong>19<\/strong> God layeth up his iniquity for his children: he rewardeth him, and he shall know it. <\/br><strong>20<\/strong> His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty. <\/br><strong>21<\/strong> For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst? <\/br><strong>22<\/strong> Shall any teach God knowledge? seeing he judgeth those that are high. <\/br><strong>23<\/strong> One dieth in his full strength, being wholly at ease and quiet. <\/br><strong>24<\/strong> His breasts are full of milk, and his bones are moistened with marrow. <\/br><strong>25<\/strong> And another dieth in the bitterness of his soul, and never eateth with pleasure. <\/br><strong>26<\/strong> They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them. <\/br><strong>27<\/strong> Behold, I know your thoughts, and the devices which ye wrongfully imagine against me. <\/br><strong>28<\/strong> For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? and where are the dwelling places of the wicked? <\/br><strong>29<\/strong> Have ye not asked them that go by the way? and do ye not know their tokens, <\/br><strong>30<\/strong> That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath. <\/br><strong>31<\/strong> Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall repay him what he hath done? <\/br><strong>32<\/strong> Yet shall he be brought to the grave, and shall remain in the tomb. <\/br><strong>33<\/strong> The clods of the valley shall be sweet unto him, and every man shall draw after him, as there are innumerable before him. <\/br><strong>34<\/strong> How then comfort ye me in vain, seeing in your answers there remaineth falsehood? <\/br><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\n
