What Does Salvation Mean?

Salvation means to be saved (preserved spiritually so that you have eternal life spiritually).

Ephesians 2:8 (stated as the book Ephesians Chapter 2, Verse 8 ) of the Bible, mentions “For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved ([a]delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;”

So no matter what great deeds a person  does, it will never be enough to deserve salvation from God. Instead, salvation is given to all those who believe in Jesus Christ as a gift from God. There is nothing we can do to earn salvation. It is given to us by God’s grace. Take a moment to re-read the scripture mentioned above: Ephesians 2:8.

I know I have made mistakes and will make mistakes. I am so grateful that God loves me, well all of us, so much that we still can be saved! Hallelujah! and Amen!

Thank you Father God! Thank you Jesus!
