I really like Michelle Williams’s latest release “Say Yes” which features Beyonce and Kelly Rowland below with lyrics. It’s upbeat, fun, positive, and reminds us that no matter what the haters say and no matter what we are going through, if Jesus promised it, nobody can take it away or block it. All we need to do is to read God’s word and include it in our prayers so that we stand in agreement with the promises of God. God can not say no to His word. So if God says yes to His word, and we say yes to God’s word, noone else can say no and block our blessings or dreams. For biblical proof of this read:
Isaiah 55:11
So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
Isaiah 59:21
“As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the LORD. “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants–from this time on and forever,” says the LORD.
Many of us have to deal with haters and people who speak against our dreams. Some of us have to deal with people who try to dig ditches for us to fall into or who try to block our blessings. Some of our so-called friends speak negatively about our visions (intentionally and non-intentionally).
But this cute, fast-paced, and fun song reminds us “When Jesus says yes, noone can say no”.
