Don’t Let Pictures Of Happy Couples On Facebook Get You Down

Friday, October 23, 2015

There is no such thing as a perfect couple. I’m amazed at how much perpetrating people do on Facebook and other social media.

It’s kind of funny to see people change their status and/or post happy pics of their significant other when I know everything is not so perfect. I’ve seen men post pics of their wives only to inbox or poke someone on facebook. I see so many single women warning married men to stop inboxing them or they will let their wives and the world know about their shady behavior.

I’ve also seen many boast of their significant other yet their significant other is not boasting about them. Next thing you know, they are no longer together or the relationship is complicated.

I said all that because if you are single and haven’t met “THE ONE” and you see so many so called happy couples, it may bring you down. But don’t let it. Or you may already be married and have experienced so many problems with your relationship that the happy pics on facebook make you sad. Don’t’ let it!

Don’t believe the hype. There is no such thing as a perfect relationship.

Every relationship will be tested. One thing is for sure, nothing stays the same. There are so many ways and times that relationships are challenged. For starters, all relationships will include disagreements. All relationships get tested by things like unemployment, health issues, the addition of children, difficult in-laws, etc.

Even if things are wonderful in a relationship, life will bring its challenges. So don’t get down if you don’t have the relationship that many people pre-tend to have on social media. Just keep preparing yourself for “THE ONE” so that you’ll be better equipped to handle the inevitable issues that come with relationships.

Christian Dating: How To Detect Romance Scammers & Keep Your Money!

Saturday, August 29, 2015

Last year in the US alone $86 million was lost due to romance scams (where people falsely represent themselves and their emotions to trick people out of money).

Do not assume the profile picture you see on Christian dating sites is really a wholesome person. Deceivers are everywhere, and they do wear suits and ties sometimes. Countless photos of innocent people are stolen and re-used on dating sites to trick men and women out of tens of thousands of dollars.

In the video below, I show you how to detect romance scammers from their online photos. Watch it until the end, it’ll bless you and your loved ones:

Christian Poetry: “Ms. 31” by VERSATYLE (Proverbs 31, The Virtuous Woman)

Wednesday, May 20, 2015

I love creative minds. Here’s a nice poem by Versatyle about no longer seeking the type of woman the world says is right for man. Instead he now seeks “Ms. 31” which implies the virtuous woman mentioned in Proverbs 31. Listen to his poetic flow in the video below. I’ve also included the scriptures in Proverbs 31 to which he bases the essence of his poem.

Here is
Proverbs 31:10 – 31
Who can find a wife of noble character?
For her value is far more than rubies.

The heart of her husband has confidence in her,
and he has no lack of gain.

She brings him good and not evil
all the days of her life.

She obtains wool and flax,
and she is pleased to work with her hands.

She is like the merchant ships;
she brings her food from afar.

She also gets up while it is still night,
and provides food for her household and a portion to her female servants.

She considers a field and buys it;
from her own income she plants a vineyard.

She begins her work vigorously,
and she strengthens her arms.

She knows that her merchandise is good,
and her lamp does not go out in the night.

Her hands take hold of the distaff,
and her hands grasp the spindle.

She extends her hand to the poor,
and reaches out her hand to the needy.

She is not afraid of the snow for her household,
for all of her household are clothed with scarlet.

She makes for herself coverlets;
her clothing is fine linen and purple.

Her husband is well-known in the city gate
when he sits with the elders of the land.

She makes linen garments and sells them,
and supplies the merchants with sashes.

She is clothed with strength and honor,
and she can laugh at the time to come.

She opens her mouth with wisdom,
and loving instruction is on her tongue.

She watches over the ways of her household,
and does not eat the bread of idleness.

Her children rise up and call her blessed,
her husband also praises her:

“Many daughters have done valiantly,
but you surpass them all!”

Charm is deceitful and beauty is fleeting,
but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised.

Give her credit for what she has accomplished,
and let her works praise her in the city gates.

To Save Marriages, You’ve Got To Be Willing To Use Tools Like Marriage Made EZ

Tuesday, September 30, 2014

We somehow are surprised when certain celebrity couples split or end their marriages. But just like all the “everyday” couples and marriages, they face the same issues. The only difference is the world has more access to them.

It just seems the devil is having a field day in the area of true love and marriage. Whether you are considering marriage or are already married, we must be proactive in using the tools God gives us to perfect our relationships.

As I was browsing channels on my TV, I ran upon the Marriage Made EZ broadcast that Dr. Mike Freeman and his beautiful wife Dr. Dee Dee Freeman hosts that will bless and heal your marriage. They are very open and honest with issues they had and the biblical solutions they used that will help your marriage. Remember the Bible tells us the importance of seeking and understanding wisdom in Proverbs 4
1 Hear, O sons, a father’s instruction,
and be attentive, that you may gain insight,
2 for I give you good precepts;
do not forsake my teaching.
3 When I was a son with my father,
tender, the only one in the sight of my mother,
4 he taught me and said to me,
“Let your heart hold fast my words;
keep my commandments, and live.
5 Get wisdom; get insight;
do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth.
6 Do not forsake her, and she will keep you;
love her, and she will guard you.
7 The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom,
and whatever you get, get insight.
8 Prize her highly, and she will exalt you;
she will honor you if you embrace her.
9 She will place on your head a graceful garland;
she will bestow on you a beautiful crown.”
10 Hear, my son, and accept my words,
that the years of your life may be many.
11 I have taught you the way of wisdom;
I have led you in the paths of uprightness.
12 When you walk, your step will not be hampered,
and if you run, you will not stumble.
13 Keep hold of instruction; do not let go;
guard her, for she is your life.
14 Do not enter the path of the wicked,
and do not walk in the way of the evil.
15 Avoid it; do not go on it;
turn away from it and pass on.
16 For they cannot sleep unless they have done wrong;
they are robbed of sleep unless they have made someone stumble.
17 For they eat the bread of wickedness
and drink the wine of violence.
18 But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn,
which shines brighter and brighter until full day.
19 The way of the wicked is like deep darkness;
they do not know over what they stumble.
20 My son, be attentive to my words;
incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Let them not escape from your sight;
keep them within your heart.
22 For they are life to those who find them,
and healing to all their flesh.
23 Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life.
24 Put away from you crooked speech,
and put devious talk far from you.
25 Let your eyes look directly forward,
and your gaze be straight before you.
26 Ponder the path of your feet;
then all your ways will be sure.
27 Do not swerve to the right or to the left;
turn your foot away from evil.

What Is Love? How Can You Tell If Someone Loves You? Hebrews 2:9-10

Friday, March 28, 2014

Love is an act NOT AN EMOTION! The revelation came strongly to me yesterday. So simple yet very powerful. There is no greater act of love than that of Father God and Jesus. Father God promised our salvation via prophets. Not ony did He say it, He and Jesus delivered on His word! That’s very important! Hebrews 2:9-10 “9 But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. 10 For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.” What an act of sacrifice and love! What a way to honor God’s word. Jesus didn’t save a few of us. He saved us all!

Thank you Father God and Jesus! I love them so much! Yes, emotion is a “symptom” or “evidence” of my love for them. But the real proof are my actions. Today, let’s be love (an action). Let’s lift up those God trusts us to encourage by allowing our paths to cross. Let’s not just talk about it, let’s be about it. Let’s do something and not just say something! I’m walking in love. Have a blessed and God-like kind of day!

The First Step When Dealing With Loneliness, Sadness, and Depression

Friday, March 2, 2012

At some point in our lives we all have to deal with loneliness, sadness, and possibly depression. It is tempting to indulge in things that ultimately can do harm to ourselves and our bodies. But we can defeat depression both in the spirit realm and the physical (natural) realm.

Personally as I grow in my faith walk, I find the quickest and most fulfilling way for me to get out of a state of loneliness or sadness is to simply praise and thank God in the middle of my storm.

Praising God doesn’t have to be formal or pretty. It can involve shouting to God or crying out to Him. You do what you have to do to fight through the negative and toxic emotions while leaning on God. But you fight through it while giving God praise for who He is and for Him being there to see you through the battle.

Does God need our praise? No. But I can tell you it most certainly gets His attention when you can thank Him and love on Him even though you are struggling with something like loneliness or a broken heart.

You can praise God anywhere and anytime and He will hear you. Hallelujah! Praise Him on the way to work. Praise Him in the shower. Praise Him anywhere when you are in your darkest hour. All you simply have to do is praise Him and He’ll see you through. I’m a witness.

You will find after minutes of genuine praise of Father God, you will feel better. And the more you repeat your praise in the days or even weeks to come, the loneliness, sadness, and depression will be forced to move off of you. Hallelujah!

Now, while you improve upon being consistent with praising God and taking care of your spirit, it’s also important to take care of our physical selves as well.

I’m learning different herbs, spices, and supplements can help us improve and maintain our physical bodies and mental state. One such blessing is turmeric curcumin. Studies have found it can act as an antidepressant.

But don’t take my word for it visit this site ( to get proof of how turmeric curcumin can help fight depression among other things. They also provide links to studies to back up the many benefits they list of turmeric curcumin.

The victory is yours as a believer in Father God and Jesus Christ! Amen to that!

Now, here are some songs to help you praise God:

“Awesome God” by the Windsor Village Choir:

Also here is the song “Praise Is What I Do” by William Murphy.
