Hang In There. God Hears Your Cries. You Will Be Redeemed

Tuesday, December 9, 2014

Dear Friend,

No one will go through life without challenges. The good news is that we have a God who hears our cries and moans. He even “hears” us when we are too broken to utter a sound. Exodus 2:24-25 reminds us God hears us and we shall overcome with Him on our side.

Exodus 2:24-25
24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25 God saw the people of Israel—and God knew

Listen to this performance by Earnest Pugh featuring Bishop Rance Allen as they sing “All Things Through Christ”

Remember no matter how trying the times are, Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Trust In The Lord

Monday, November 3, 2014

Let’s remember to thank God for another day, another opportunity to serve Him, love Him, and trust Him (especially when it seems we have no control over a situation).

This reminds me of Fred Hammond’s song “I Will Trust”

Remember the bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Have a great day friend.

Michelle William’s “If We Had Your Eyes” Lyrics and Video

I’m really feeling Michelle William’s “If We Had Your Eyes” song (the lyrics are below).

It brings to mind
1 Corinthians 2:9
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard
and no one’s heart has imagined
all the things that God has prepared
for those who love him.”

So no matter how down you feel or how lonely, remember God loves you so much. Just imagine if we could see ourselves and others as God sees us.
Here’s a video and lyrics to “If We Had Your Eyes” by Michelle Williams:

This song and her “Say Yes” song are from her Journey To Freedom album.

Don’t Beat Yourself Up Over Sin. Noone Is Perfect

Thursday, August 28, 2014
By

Do not beat yourself up over sin. Noone is perfect. We all make mistakes. No matter how low you’ve fallen, you can get back up again.
Don’t fall into the trap of depression no matter how bad the mistake or how often you’ve sinned. Again, no one is perfect.
Self condemnation allows the enemy to have a field day with you. Do not fall for it.
Remember Romans 8:1-2 says
“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.”

So let’s make sure you are in Christ Jesus by listening to the last video below.
I want you to come out of this season and shake it off. Get up and rise again! Listen to Donnie McClurkin’s “We Fall Down, But We Get Up” classic and relevant song below (lyrics included):

God is not done with you yet. You are still here for a purpose. Your story and deliverance is a testimony for many others who are going through the same thing. Use this time for good. God is already in the works doing just that for you!
Listen to Chanel Haynes “Repay” song:

Now, make sure you have a real conversation with mighty God. Admit your mistakes. Let Him know you are sorry. Apologize to Jesus, and ask for the Lord’s help.
Here is a video that talks about Jesus paying the price for your sin and gives you the opportunity to invite Jesus into your heart (salvation).

God bless you. Let’s keep each other lifted in prayer.

When The World Is Crumbling Around You, Cry Out To God and Trust Him – Psalm 27

Tuesday, July 8, 2014
By

When it seems that all hell has broken loose, lean on and trust God to see you through. Everyone will be tested. Everyone will be rejected. Everyone will be neglected, but your Father In Heaven never abandons you. Jesus is right here. Just trust The Lord.

Psalm 27 is something we all can relate to. Just remember you have everything you need to succeed (including God’s Word, God’s Promises, and 24/7 prayer lines):
Here is Psalm 27 for you to chew on and feed your spirit:

1 The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When evildoers assail me
to eat up my flesh,
my adversaries and foes,
it is they who stumble and fall.
3 Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me,
yet I will be confident.
4 One thing have I asked of the Lord,
that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord
and to inquire in his temple.
5 For he will hide me in his shelter
in the day of trouble;
he will conceal me under the cover of his tent;
he will lift me high upon a rock.
6 And now my head shall be lifted up
above my enemies all around me,
and I will offer in his tent
sacrifices with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make melody to the Lord.
7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud;
be gracious to me and answer me!
8 You have said, “Seek my face.”
My heart says to you,
“Your face, Lord, do I seek.”
9 Hide not your face from me.
Turn not your servant away in anger,
O you who have been my help.
Cast me not off; forsake me not,
O God of my salvation!
10 For my father and my mother have forsaken me,
but the Lord will take me in.
11 Teach me your way, O Lord,
and lead me on a level path
because of my enemies.
12 Give me not up to the will of my adversaries;
for false witnesses have risen against me,
and they breathe out violence.
13 I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living!
14 Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord!

God Gives Us So Much Grace, Mercy, And Love No Matter How Bad You Messed Up- Micah 7:18-19

Thursday, May 1, 2014
By

I’m so glad God has mercy on us. So glad for His grace. I’ve said, thought, and done so many ungodly things. If He can forgive us and still love us, and we are to be an image of Him, we must do the same thing. Micah 7:18-19 speaks to the love and kindness of our God. “18 Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity And passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in unchanging love. 19 He will again have compassion on us; He will tread our iniquities under foot. Yes, You will cast all their sins Into the depths of the sea.”

I thank God often for His grace, love, and mercy. I know I don’t deserve it. There is noone like Father God, noone like Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

If you haven’t made Jesus your Lord and Saviour, you need to RIGHT NOW.

James 1:12 Blessed Is The Man That Endures Temptation #James1:12

Thursday, March 13, 2014
By

As I read Facebook posts, more pastors’ shortcomings are being brought to light. Pastors telling women to come to church with no panties. And the mess Marvin Sapp is allegedly involved in.

Nothing is kept secret anymore because of technology and global access to it. satan does not sleep. he seeks to devour. he studies us to determine our vices, and he uses them to bring us down and block our blessings. That satan is bold isn’t he? So bold not only did he tempt Eve in the garden, Esau in giving up his birthright, and David with Bathsheba, this fool had the audacity to tempt Jesus. But he can only go as far as we let him. That’s why we must renew our minds with the word and surround ourselves with others who do the same. We must keep those who are babes in Christ at a reasonable spiritual distance. We don’t have to kick them to the curb but we must make sure we have on God’s armor when we interact with them. We want to be light and an example to them. But that doesn’t mean we have to share everything with them. Maybe give more access to those who have on God’s armor. Even then, discernment is key because they too will be tempted (just like us). The ability to recognize temptation could mean life or death (spiritually, literally, financially). Ultimately the man who endures temptation is blessed.
James 1:12″Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which The Lord hath promised to them that love him.” It’s hard to resist temptation, but I encourage us all to be mindful and to fight it with all we’ve got. But it sure is hard.
