{"id":20103,"date":"2017-09-23T14:40:28","date_gmt":"2017-09-23T20:40:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/23\/proverbs-281-28-world-english-bible\/"},"modified":"2017-09-23T14:40:28","modified_gmt":"2017-09-23T20:40:28","slug":"proverbs-281-28-world-english-bible","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/?p=20103","title":{"rendered":"Proverbs 28:1-28 (World English Bible)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-4647651612525789\"; \/* access2God_horiz_4_link_single_post *\/ google_ad_slot = \"7824248799\"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15;\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<strong>1<\/strong> The wicked flee when no one pursues; But the righteous are as bold as a lion. <\/br><strong>2<\/strong> In rebellion, a land has many rulers, But order is maintained by a man of understanding and knowledge. <\/br><strong>3<\/strong> A needy man who oppresses the poor Is like a driving rain which leaves no crops. <\/br><strong>4<\/strong> Those who forsake the law praise the wicked; But those who keep the law contend with them. <\/br><strong>5<\/strong> Evil men don&#8217;t understand justice; But those who seek Yahweh understand it fully. <\/br><strong>6<\/strong> Better is the poor who walks in his integrity, Than he who is perverse in his ways, and he is rich. <\/br><strong>7<\/strong> Whoever keeps the law is a wise son; But he who is a companion of gluttons shames his father. <\/br><strong>8<\/strong> He who increases his wealth by excessive interest Gathers it for one who has pity on the poor. <\/br><strong>9<\/strong> He who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination. <\/br><strong>10<\/strong> Whoever causes the upright to go astray in an evil way, He will fall into his own trap; But the blameless will inherit good. <\/br><strong>11<\/strong> The rich man is wise in his own eyes; But the poor who has understanding sees through him. <\/br><strong>12<\/strong> When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; But when the wicked rise, men hide themselves. <\/br><strong>13<\/strong> He who conceals his sins doesn&#8217;t prosper, But whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. <\/br><strong>14<\/strong> Blessed is the man who always fears; But one who hardens his heart falls into trouble. <\/br><strong>15<\/strong> As a roaring lion or a charging bear, So is a wicked ruler over helpless people. <\/br><strong>16<\/strong> A tyrannical ruler lacks judgment. One who hates ill-gotten gain will have long days. <\/br><strong>17<\/strong> A man who is tormented by life blood will be a fugitive until death; No one will support him. <\/br><strong>18<\/strong> Whoever walks blamelessly is kept safe; But one with perverse ways will fall suddenly. <\/br><strong>19<\/strong> One who works his land will have an abundance of food; But one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty. <\/br><strong>20<\/strong> A faithful man is rich with blessings; But one who is eager to be rich will not go unpunished. <\/br><strong>21<\/strong> To show partiality is not good; Yet a man will do wrong for a piece of bread. <\/br><strong>22<\/strong> A stingy man hurries after riches, And doesn&#8217;t know that poverty waits for him. <\/br><strong>23<\/strong> One who rebukes a man will afterward find more favor Than one who flatters with the tongue. <\/br><strong>24<\/strong> Whoever robs his father or his mother, and says, &#8220;It&#8217;s not wrong.&#8221; He is a partner with a destroyer. <\/br><strong>25<\/strong> One who is greedy stirs up strife; But one who trusts in Yahweh will prosper. <\/br><strong>26<\/strong> One who trusts in himself is a fool; But one who walks in wisdom, he is kept safe. <\/br><strong>27<\/strong> One who gives to the poor has no lack; But one who closes his eyes will have many curses. <\/br><strong>28<\/strong> When the wicked rise, men hide themselves;
