{"id":20117,"date":"2017-09-23T14:40:33","date_gmt":"2017-09-23T20:40:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/23\/proverbs-141-35-world-english-bible\/"},"modified":"2017-09-23T14:40:33","modified_gmt":"2017-09-23T20:40:33","slug":"proverbs-141-35-world-english-bible","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/?p=20117","title":{"rendered":"Proverbs 14:1-35 (World English Bible)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-4647651612525789\"; \/* access2God_horiz_4_link_single_post *\/ google_ad_slot = \"7824248799\"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15;\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<strong>1<\/strong> Every wise woman builds her house, But the foolish one tears it down with her own hands. <\/br><strong>2<\/strong> He who walks in his uprightness fears Yahweh, But he who is perverse in his ways despises him. <\/br><strong>3<\/strong> The fool&#8217;s talk brings a rod to his back, But the lips of the wise protect them. <\/br><strong>4<\/strong> Where no oxen are, the crib is clean, But much increase is by the strength of the ox. <\/br><strong>5<\/strong> A truthful witness will not lie, But a false witness pours out lies. <\/br><strong>6<\/strong> A scoffer seeks wisdom, and doesn&#8217;t find it, But knowledge comes easily to a discerning person. <\/br><strong>7<\/strong> Stay away from a foolish man, For you won&#8217;t find knowledge on his lips. <\/br><strong>8<\/strong> The wisdom of the prudent is to think about his way, But the folly of fools is deceit. <\/br><strong>9<\/strong> Fools mock at making atonement for sins, But among the upright there is good will. <\/br><strong>10<\/strong> The heart knows its own bitterness and joy; He will not share these with a stranger. <\/br><strong>11<\/strong> The house of the wicked will be overthrown, But the tent of the upright will flourish. <\/br><strong>12<\/strong> There is a way which seems right to a man, But in the end it leads to death. <\/br><strong>13<\/strong> Even in laughter the heart may be sorrowful, And mirth may end in heaviness. <\/br><strong>14<\/strong> The unfaithful will be repaid for his own ways; Likewise a good man will be rewarded for his ways. <\/br><strong>15<\/strong> A simple man believes everything, But the prudent man carefully considers his ways. <\/br><strong>16<\/strong> A wise man fears, and shuns evil, But the fool is hotheaded and reckless. <\/br><strong>17<\/strong> He who is quick to become angry will commit folly, And a crafty man is hated. <\/br><strong>18<\/strong> The simple inherit folly, But the prudent are crowned with knowledge. <\/br><strong>19<\/strong> The evil bow down before the good, And the wicked at the gates of the righteous. <\/br><strong>20<\/strong> The poor person is shunned even by his own neighbor, But the rich person has many friends. <\/br><strong>21<\/strong> He who despises his neighbor sins, But blessed is he who has pity on the poor. <\/br><strong>22<\/strong> Don&#8217;t they go astray who plot evil? But love and faithfulness belong to those who plan good. <\/br><strong>23<\/strong> In all hard work there is profit, But the talk of the lips leads only to poverty. <\/br><strong>24<\/strong> The crown of the wise is their riches, But the folly of fools crowns them with folly. <\/br><strong>25<\/strong> A truthful witness saves souls, But a false witness is deceitful. <\/br><strong>26<\/strong> In the fear of Yahweh is a secure fortress, And he will be a refuge for his children. <\/br><strong>27<\/strong> The fear of Yahweh is a fountain of life, Turning people from the snares of death. <\/br><strong>28<\/strong> In the multitude of people is the king&#8217;s glory, But in the lack of people is the destruction of the prince. <\/br><strong>29<\/strong> He who is slow to anger has great understanding, But he who has a quick temper displays folly. <\/br><strong>30<\/strong> The life of the body is a heart at peace, But envy rots the bones. <\/br><strong>31<\/strong> He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for his Maker, But he who is kind to the needy honors him. <\/br><strong>32<\/strong> The wicked is brought down in his calamity, But in death, the righteous has a refuge. <\/br><strong>33<\/strong> Wisdom rests in the heart of one who has understanding, And is even made known in the inward part of fools. <\/br><strong>34<\/strong> Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a disgrace to any people. <\/br><strong>35<\/strong> The king&#8217;s favor is toward a servant who deals wisely, But his wrath is
