{"id":20119,"date":"2017-09-23T14:40:33","date_gmt":"2017-09-23T20:40:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/23\/proverbs-121-28-world-english-bible\/"},"modified":"2017-09-23T14:40:33","modified_gmt":"2017-09-23T20:40:33","slug":"proverbs-121-28-world-english-bible","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/?p=20119","title":{"rendered":"Proverbs 12:1-28 (World English Bible)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-4647651612525789\"; \/* access2God_horiz_4_link_single_post *\/ google_ad_slot = \"7824248799\"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15;\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<strong>1<\/strong> Whoever loves correction loves knowledge, But he who hates reproof is stupid. <\/br><strong>2<\/strong> A good man shall obtain favor from Yahweh, But he will condemn a man of wicked devices. <\/br><strong>3<\/strong> A man shall not be established by wickedness, But the root of the righteous shall not be moved. <\/br><strong>4<\/strong> A worthy woman is the crown of her husband, But a disgraceful wife is as rottenness in his bones. <\/br><strong>5<\/strong> The thoughts of the righteous are just, But the advice of the wicked is deceitful. <\/br><strong>6<\/strong> The words of the wicked are about lying in wait for blood, But the speech of the upright rescues them. <\/br><strong>7<\/strong> The wicked are overthrown, and are no more, But the house of the righteous shall stand. <\/br><strong>8<\/strong> A man shall be commended according to his wisdom, But he who has a warped mind shall be despised. <\/br><strong>9<\/strong> Better is he who is lightly esteemed, and has a servant, Than he who honors himself, and lacks bread. <\/br><strong>10<\/strong> A righteous man regards the life of his animal, But the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. <\/br><strong>11<\/strong> He who tills his land shall have plenty of bread, But he who chases fantasies is void of understanding. <\/br><strong>12<\/strong> The wicked desires the plunder of evil men, But the root of the righteous flourishes. <\/br><strong>13<\/strong> An evil man is trapped by sinfulness of lips, But the righteous shall come out of trouble. <\/br><strong>14<\/strong> A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth. The work of a man&#8217;s hands shall be rewarded to him. <\/br><strong>15<\/strong> The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, But he who is wise listens to counsel. <\/br><strong>16<\/strong> A fool shows his annoyance the same day, But one who overlooks an insult is prudent. <\/br><strong>17<\/strong> He who is truthful testifies honestly, But a false witness lies. <\/br><strong>18<\/strong> There is one who speaks rashly like the piercing of a sword, But the tongue of the wise heals. <\/br><strong>19<\/strong> Truth&#8217;s lips will be established forever, But a lying tongue is only momentary. <\/br><strong>20<\/strong> Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil, But joy comes to the promoters of peace. <\/br><strong>21<\/strong> No mischief shall happen to the righteous, But the wicked shall be filled with evil. <\/br><strong>22<\/strong> Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, But those who do the truth are his delight. <\/br><strong>23<\/strong> A prudent man keeps his knowledge, But the hearts of fools proclaim foolishness. <\/br><strong>24<\/strong> The hands of the diligent ones shall rule, But laziness ends in slave labor. <\/br><strong>25<\/strong> Anxiety in a man&#8217;s heart weighs it down, But a kind word makes it glad. <\/br><strong>26<\/strong> A righteous person is cautious in friendship, But the way of the wicked leads them astray. <\/br><strong>27<\/strong> The slothful man doesn&#8217;t roast his game, But the possessions of diligent men are prized. <\/br><strong>28<\/strong> In the way of
