{"id":20303,"date":"2017-09-23T14:43:41","date_gmt":"2017-09-23T20:43:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/23\/job-201-29-world-english-bible\/"},"modified":"2017-09-23T14:43:41","modified_gmt":"2017-09-23T20:43:41","slug":"job-201-29-world-english-bible","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/?p=20303","title":{"rendered":"Job 20:1-29 (World English Bible)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-4647651612525789\"; \/* access2God_horiz_4_link_single_post *\/ google_ad_slot = \"7824248799\"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15;\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<strong>1<\/strong> Then Zophar the Naamathite answered, <\/br><strong>2<\/strong> &#8220;Therefore do my thoughts give answer to me, Even by reason of my haste that is in me. <\/br><strong>3<\/strong> I have heard the reproof which puts me to shame; The spirit of my understanding answers me. <\/br><strong>4<\/strong> Don&#8217;t you know this from old time, Since man was placed on earth, <\/br><strong>5<\/strong> That the triumphing of the wicked is short, The joy of the godless but for a moment? <\/br><strong>6<\/strong> Though his height mount up to the heavens, And his head reach to the clouds, <\/br><strong>7<\/strong> Yet he shall perish forever like his own dung, Those who have seen him shall say, &#8216;Where is he?&#8217; <\/br><strong>8<\/strong> He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: Yes, he shall be chased away like a vision of the night. <\/br><strong>9<\/strong> The eye which saw him shall see him no more, Neither shall his place any more see him. <\/br><strong>10<\/strong> His children shall seek the favor of the poor. His hands shall give back his wealth. <\/br><strong>11<\/strong> His bones are full of his youth, But youth shall lie down with him in the dust. <\/br><strong>12<\/strong> &#8220;Though wickedness is sweet in his mouth, Though he hide it under his tongue, <\/br><strong>13<\/strong> Though he spare it, and will not let it go, But keep it still within his mouth; <\/br><strong>14<\/strong> Yet his food in his bowels is turned. It is cobra venom within him. <\/br><strong>15<\/strong> He has swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again. God will cast them out of his belly. <\/br><strong>16<\/strong> He shall suck cobra venom. The viper&#8217;s tongue shall kill him. <\/br><strong>17<\/strong> He shall not look at the rivers, The flowing streams of honey and butter. <\/br><strong>18<\/strong> That for which he labored he shall restore, and shall not swallow it down; According to the substance that he has gotten, he shall not rejoice. <\/br><strong>19<\/strong> For he has oppressed and forsaken the poor. He has violently taken away a house, and he shall not build it up. <\/br><strong>20<\/strong> &#8220;Because he knew no quietness within him, He shall not save anything of that in which he delights. <\/br><strong>21<\/strong> There was nothing left that he didn&#8217;t devour, Therefore his prosperity shall not endure. <\/br><strong>22<\/strong> In the fullness of his sufficiency, distress shall overtake him: The hand of everyone who is in misery shall come on him. <\/br><strong>23<\/strong> When he is about to fill his belly, God will cast the fierceness of his wrath on him. It will rain on him while he is eating. <\/br><strong>24<\/strong> He shall flee from the iron weapon. The bronze arrow shall strike him through. <\/br><strong>25<\/strong> He draws it forth, and it comes out of his body. Yes, the glittering point comes out of his liver. Terrors are on him. <\/br><strong>26<\/strong> All darkness is laid up for his treasures. An unfanned fire shall devour him. It shall consume that which is left in his tent. <\/br><strong>27<\/strong> The heavens shall reveal his iniquity, The earth shall rise up against him. <\/br><strong>28<\/strong> The increase of his house shall depart; They shall rush away in the day of his wrath. <\/br><strong>29<\/strong> This is the portion of a wicked man from God, The heritage appointed to him by God.&#8221; <\/br><script
