{"id":21522,"date":"2017-09-23T19:12:59","date_gmt":"2017-09-24T01:12:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/23\/proverbs-51-23-youngs-literal-translation-bible\/"},"modified":"2017-09-23T19:12:59","modified_gmt":"2017-09-24T01:12:59","slug":"proverbs-51-23-youngs-literal-translation-bible","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/?p=21522","title":{"rendered":"Proverbs 5:1-23 (Young&#8217;s Literal Translation Bible)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-4647651612525789\"; \/* access2God_horiz_4_link_single_post *\/ google_ad_slot = \"7824248799\"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15;\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<strong>1<\/strong> My son! to my wisdom give attention, To mine understanding incline thine ear, <\/br><strong>2<\/strong> To observe thoughtfulness, And knowledge do thy lips keep. <\/br><strong>3<\/strong> For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, And smoother than oil `is&#8217; her mouth, <\/br><strong>4<\/strong> And her latter end `is&#8217; bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a sword `with&#8217; mouths. <\/br><strong>5<\/strong> Her feet are going down to death, Sheol do her steps take hold of. <\/br><strong>6<\/strong> The path of life &#8212; lest thou ponder, Moved have her paths &#8212; thou knowest not. <\/br><strong>7<\/strong> And now, ye sons, hearken to me, And turn not from sayings of my mouth. <\/br><strong>8<\/strong> Keep far from off her thy way, And come not near unto the opening of her house, <\/br><strong>9<\/strong> Lest thou give to others thy honour, And thy years to the fierce, <\/br><strong>10<\/strong> Lest strangers be filled `with&#8217; thy power, And thy labours in the house of a stranger, <\/br><strong>11<\/strong> And thou hast howled in thy latter end, In the consumption of thy flesh and thy food, <\/br><strong>12<\/strong> And hast said, `How have I hated instruction, And reproof hath my heart despised, <\/br><strong>13<\/strong> And I have not hearkened to the voice of my directors, And to my teachers have not inclined mine ear. <\/br><strong>14<\/strong> As a little thing I have been all evil, In the midst of an assembly and a company. <\/br><strong>15<\/strong> Drink waters out of thine own cistern, Even flowing ones out of thine own well. <\/br><strong>16<\/strong> Let thy fountains be scattered abroad, In broad places rivulets of waters. <\/br><strong>17<\/strong> Let them be to thee for thyself, And not to strangers with thee. <\/br><strong>18<\/strong> Let thy fountain be blessed, And rejoice because of the wife of thy youth, <\/br><strong>19<\/strong> A hind of loves, and a roe of grace! Let her loves satisfy thee at all times, In her love magnify thyself continually. <\/br><strong>20<\/strong> And why dost thou magnify thyself, My son, with a stranger? And embrace the bosom of a strange woman? <\/br><strong>21<\/strong> For over-against the eyes of Jehovah are the ways of each, And all his paths He is pondering. <\/br><strong>22<\/strong> His own iniquities do capture the wicked, And with the ropes of his sin he is holden. <\/br><strong>23<\/strong> He dieth without instruction, And in the abundance of his folly magnifieth himself!
