{"id":21524,"date":"2017-09-23T19:13:00","date_gmt":"2017-09-24T01:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/23\/proverbs-31-35-youngs-literal-translation-bible\/"},"modified":"2017-09-23T19:13:00","modified_gmt":"2017-09-24T01:13:00","slug":"proverbs-31-35-youngs-literal-translation-bible","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/?p=21524","title":{"rendered":"Proverbs 3:1-35 (Young&#8217;s Literal Translation Bible)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-4647651612525789\"; \/* access2God_horiz_4_link_single_post *\/ google_ad_slot = \"7824248799\"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15;\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<strong>1<\/strong> My son! my law forget not, And my commands let thy heart keep, <\/br><strong>2<\/strong> For length of days and years, Life and peace they do add to thee. <\/br><strong>3<\/strong> Let not kindness and truth forsake thee, Bind them on thy neck, Write them on the tablet of thy heart, <\/br><strong>4<\/strong> And find grace and good understanding In the eyes of God and man. <\/br><strong>5<\/strong> Trust unto Jehovah with all thy heart, And unto thine own understanding lean not. <\/br><strong>6<\/strong> In all thy ways know thou Him, And He doth make straight thy paths. <\/br><strong>7<\/strong> Be not wise in thine own eyes, Fear Jehovah, and turn aside from evil. <\/br><strong>8<\/strong> Healing it is to thy navel, And moistening to thy bones. <\/br><strong>9<\/strong> Honour Jehovah from thy substance, And from the beginning of all thine increase; <\/br><strong>10<\/strong> And filled are thy barns `with&#8217; plenty, And `with&#8217; new wine thy presses break forth. <\/br><strong>11<\/strong> Chastisement of Jehovah, my son, despise not, And be not vexed with His reproof, <\/br><strong>12<\/strong> For whom Jehovah loveth He reproveth, Even as a father the son He is pleased with. <\/br><strong>13<\/strong> O the happiness of a man `who&#8217; hath found wisdom, And of a man `who&#8217; bringeth forth understanding. <\/br><strong>14<\/strong> For better `is&#8217; her merchandise Than the merchandise of silver, And than gold &#8212; her increase. <\/br><strong>15<\/strong> Precious she `is&#8217; above rubies, And all thy pleasures are not comparable to her. <\/br><strong>16<\/strong> Length of days `is&#8217; in her right hand, In her left `are&#8217; wealth and honour. <\/br><strong>17<\/strong> Her ways `are&#8217; ways of pleasantness, And all her paths `are&#8217; peace. <\/br><strong>18<\/strong> A tree of life she `is&#8217; to those laying hold on her, And whoso is retaining her `is&#8217; happy. <\/br><strong>19<\/strong> Jehovah by wisdom did found the earth, He prepared the heavens by understanding. <\/br><strong>20<\/strong> By His knowledge depths have been rent, And clouds do drop dew. <\/br><strong>21<\/strong> My son! let them not turn from thine eyes, Keep thou wisdom and thoughtfulness, <\/br><strong>22<\/strong> And they are life to thy soul, and grace to thy neck. <\/br><strong>23<\/strong> Then thou goest thy way confidently, And thy foot doth not stumble. <\/br><strong>24<\/strong> If thou liest down, thou art not afraid, Yea, thou hast lain down, And sweet hath been thy sleep. <\/br><strong>25<\/strong> Be not afraid of sudden fear, And of the desolation of the wicked when it cometh. <\/br><strong>26<\/strong> For Jehovah is at thy side, And He hath kept thy foot from capture. <\/br><strong>27<\/strong> Withhold not good from its owners, When thy hand `is&#8217; toward God to do `it&#8217;. <\/br><strong>28<\/strong> Say not thou to thy friend, `Go, and return, and to-morrow I give,&#8217; And substance with thee. <\/br><strong>29<\/strong> Devise not against thy neighbour evil, And he sitting confidently with thee. <\/br><strong>30<\/strong> Strive not with a man without cause, If he have not done thee evil. <\/br><strong>31<\/strong> Be not envious of a man of violence, Nor fix thou on any of his ways. <\/br><strong>32<\/strong> For an abomination to Jehovah `is&#8217; the perverted, And with the upright `is&#8217; His secret counsel. <\/br><strong>33<\/strong> The curse of Jehovah `is&#8217; in the house of the wicked. And the habitation of the righteous He blesseth. <\/br><strong>34<\/strong> If the scorners He doth scorn, Yet to the humble He doth give grace. <\/br><strong>35<\/strong> Honour do the wise inherit, And fools are bearing away shame!
