{"id":22615,"date":"2017-09-30T14:31:12","date_gmt":"2017-09-30T20:31:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/30\/isaiah-531-12-darby-english-bible\/"},"modified":"2017-09-30T14:31:12","modified_gmt":"2017-09-30T20:31:12","slug":"isaiah-531-12-darby-english-bible","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/?p=22615","title":{"rendered":"Isaiah 53:1-12 (Darby English Bible)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-4647651612525789\"; \/* access2God_horiz_4_link_single_post *\/ google_ad_slot = \"7824248799\"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15;\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<strong>1<\/strong> Who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of Jehovah been revealed? <\/br><strong>2<\/strong> For he shall grow up before him as a tender sapling, and as a root out of dry ground: he hath no form nor lordliness, and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. <\/br><strong>3<\/strong> He is despised and left alone of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief, and like one from whom [men] hide their faces; &#8212; despised, and we esteemed him not. <\/br><strong>4<\/strong> Surely *he* hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; and we, we did regard him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. <\/br><strong>5<\/strong> But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed. <\/br><strong>6<\/strong> All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way; and Jehovah hath laid upon him the iniquity of us all. <\/br><strong>7<\/strong> He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, but he opened not his mouth; he was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and was as a sheep dumb before her shearers, and he opened not his mouth. <\/br><strong>8<\/strong> He was taken from oppression and from judgment; and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living; for the transgression of my people was he stricken. <\/br><strong>9<\/strong> And [men] appointed his grave with the wicked, but he was with the rich in his death, because he had done no violence, neither was there guile in his mouth. <\/br><strong>10<\/strong> Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath subjected [him] to suffering.
