{"id":22904,"date":"2017-09-30T14:34:20","date_gmt":"2017-09-30T20:34:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/30\/job-71-21-darby-english-bible\/"},"modified":"2017-09-30T14:34:20","modified_gmt":"2017-09-30T20:34:20","slug":"job-71-21-darby-english-bible","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/?p=22904","title":{"rendered":"Job 7:1-21 (Darby English Bible)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-4647651612525789\"; \/* access2God_horiz_4_link_single_post *\/ google_ad_slot = \"7824248799\"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15;\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<strong>1<\/strong> Hath not man a life of labour upon earth? and are not his days like the days of a hireling? <\/br><strong>2<\/strong> As a bondman earnestly desireth the shadow, and a hireling expecteth his wages, <\/br><strong>3<\/strong> So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to me. <\/br><strong>4<\/strong> If I lie down, I say, When shall I rise up, and the darkness be gone? and I am full of tossings until the dawn. <\/br><strong>5<\/strong> My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin is broken, and suppurates. <\/br><strong>6<\/strong> My days are swifter than a weaver&#8217;s shuttle, and are spent without hope. <\/br><strong>7<\/strong> Remember thou that my life is wind; mine eye shall no more see good. <\/br><strong>8<\/strong> The eye of him that hath seen me shall behold me no [more]: thine eyes are upon me, and I am not. <\/br><strong>9<\/strong> The cloud consumeth and vanisheth away; so he that goeth down to Sheol shall not come up. <\/br><strong>10<\/strong> He shall return no more to his house, neither shall his place know him again. <\/br><strong>11<\/strong> Therefore I will not restrain my mouth: I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul. <\/br><strong>12<\/strong> Am I a sea, or a sea-monster, that thou settest a watch over me? <\/br><strong>13<\/strong> When I say, My bed shall comfort me, my couch shall ease my complaint; <\/br><strong>14<\/strong> Then thou scarest me with dreams, and terrifiest me through visions; <\/br><strong>15<\/strong> So that my soul chooseth strangling, death, rather than my bones. <\/br><strong>16<\/strong> I loathe it; I shall not live always: let me alone, for my days are a breath. <\/br><strong>17<\/strong> What is man, that thou makest much of him? and that thou settest thy heart upon him? <\/br><strong>18<\/strong> And that thou visitest him every morning, triest him every moment? <\/br><strong>19<\/strong> How long wilt thou not look away from me, nor let me alone till I swallow down my spittle? <\/br><strong>20<\/strong> Have I sinned, what do I unto thee, thou Observer of men?
