{"id":24668,"date":"2017-09-30T15:52:25","date_gmt":"2017-09-30T21:52:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/30\/romans-121-21-american-standard-version\/"},"modified":"2017-09-30T15:52:25","modified_gmt":"2017-09-30T21:52:25","slug":"romans-121-21-american-standard-version","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/?p=24668","title":{"rendered":"Romans 12:1-21 (American Standard Version)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-4647651612525789\"; \/* access2God_horiz_4_link_single_post *\/ google_ad_slot = \"7824248799\"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15;\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<strong>1<\/strong> I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, `which is&#8217; your spiritual service. <\/br><strong>2<\/strong> And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. <\/br><strong>3<\/strong> For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think as to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to each man a measure of faith. <\/br><strong>4<\/strong> For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members have not the same office: <\/br><strong>5<\/strong> so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and severally members one of another. <\/br><strong>6<\/strong> And having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, whether prophecy, `let us prophesy&#8217; according to the proportion of our faith; <\/br><strong>7<\/strong> or ministry, `let us give ourselves&#8217; to our ministry; or he that teacheth, to his teaching; <\/br><strong>8<\/strong> or he that exhorteth, to his exhorting: he that giveth, `let him do it&#8217; with liberality; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness. <\/br><strong>9<\/strong> Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. <\/br><strong>10<\/strong> In love of the brethren be tenderly affectioned one to another; in honor preferring one another; <\/br><strong>11<\/strong> in diligence not slothful; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; <\/br><strong>12<\/strong> rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing stedfastly in prayer; <\/br><strong>13<\/strong> communicating to the necessities of the saints; given to hospitality. <\/br><strong>14<\/strong> Bless them that persecute you; bless, and curse not. <\/br><strong>15<\/strong> Rejoice with them that rejoice; weep with them that weep. <\/br><strong>16<\/strong> Be of the same mind one toward another. Set not your mind on high things, but condescend to things that are lowly. Be not wise in your own conceits. <\/br><strong>17<\/strong> Render to no man evil for evil. Take thought for things honorable in the sight of all men. <\/br><strong>18<\/strong> If it be possible, as much as in you lieth, be at peace with all men. <\/br><strong>19<\/strong> Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath `of God&#8217;: for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord. <\/br><strong>20<\/strong> But if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him to drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head. <\/br><strong>21<\/strong> Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
