{"id":25253,"date":"2017-09-30T15:59:28","date_gmt":"2017-09-30T21:59:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/30\/job-371-24-american-standard-version\/"},"modified":"2017-09-30T15:59:28","modified_gmt":"2017-09-30T21:59:28","slug":"job-371-24-american-standard-version","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/?p=25253","title":{"rendered":"Job 37:1-24 (American Standard Version)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-4647651612525789\"; \/* access2God_horiz_4_link_single_post *\/ google_ad_slot = \"7824248799\"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15;\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<strong>1<\/strong> Yea, at this my heart trembleth, And is moved out of its place. <\/br><strong>2<\/strong> Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, And the sound that goeth out of his mouth. <\/br><strong>3<\/strong> He sendeth it forth under the whole heaven, And his lightening unto the ends of the earth. <\/br><strong>4<\/strong> After it a voice roareth; He thundereth with the voice of his majesty; And he restraineth not `the lightnings&#8217; when his voice is heard. <\/br><strong>5<\/strong> God thundereth marvellously with his voice; Great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend. <\/br><strong>6<\/strong> For he saith to the snow, Fall thou on the earth; Likewise to the shower of rain, And to the showers of his mighty rain. <\/br><strong>7<\/strong> He sealeth up the hand of every man, That all men whom he hath made may know `it&#8217;. <\/br><strong>8<\/strong> Then the beasts go into coverts, And remain in their dens. <\/br><strong>9<\/strong> Out of the chamber `of the south&#8217; cometh the storm, And cold out of the north. <\/br><strong>10<\/strong> By the breath of God ice is given; And the breadth of the waters is straitened. <\/br><strong>11<\/strong> Yea, he ladeth the thick cloud with moisture; He spreadeth abroad the cloud of his lightning: <\/br><strong>12<\/strong> And it is turned round about by his guidance, That they may do whatsoever he commandeth them Upon the face of the habitable world, <\/br><strong>13<\/strong> Whether it be for correction, or for his land, Or for lovingkindness, that he cause it to come. <\/br><strong>14<\/strong> Hearken unto this, O Job: Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God. <\/br><strong>15<\/strong> Dost thou know how God layeth `his charge&#8217; upon them, And causeth the lightning of his cloud to shine? <\/br><strong>16<\/strong> Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, The wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge? <\/br><strong>17<\/strong> How thy garments are warm, When the earth is still by reason of the south `wind&#8217;? <\/br><strong>18<\/strong> Canst thou with him spread out the sky, Which is strong as a molten mirror? <\/br><strong>19<\/strong> Teach us what we shall say unto him; `For&#8217; we cannot set `our speech&#8217; in order by reason of darkness. <\/br><strong>20<\/strong> Shall it be told him that I would speak? Or should a man wish that he were swallowed up? <\/br><strong>21<\/strong> And now men see not the light which is bright in the skies; But the wind passeth, and cleareth them. <\/br><strong>22<\/strong> Out of the north cometh golden splendor: God hath upon him terrible majesty. <\/br><strong>23<\/strong> `Touching&#8217; the Almighty, we cannot find him out He is excellent in power; And in justice and plenteous righteousness he will not afflict. <\/br><strong>24<\/strong> Men do therefore fear him: He regardeth not any that are wise of heart. <\/br><script
