{"id":25786,"date":"2017-09-30T16:28:17","date_gmt":"2017-09-30T22:28:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/30\/2-timothy-41-22-king-james-version\/"},"modified":"2017-09-30T16:28:17","modified_gmt":"2017-09-30T22:28:17","slug":"2-timothy-41-22-king-james-version","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/?p=25786","title":{"rendered":"2 Timothy 4:1-22 (King James Version)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-4647651612525789\"; \/* access2God_horiz_4_link_single_post *\/ google_ad_slot = \"7824248799\"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15;\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<strong>1<\/strong> I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; <\/br><strong>2<\/strong> Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. <\/br><strong>3<\/strong> For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; <\/br><strong>4<\/strong> And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. <\/br><strong>5<\/strong> But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. <\/br><strong>6<\/strong> For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. <\/br><strong>7<\/strong> I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: <\/br><strong>8<\/strong> Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. <\/br><strong>9<\/strong> Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me: <\/br><strong>10<\/strong> For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. <\/br><strong>11<\/strong> Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry. <\/br><strong>12<\/strong> And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus. <\/br><strong>13<\/strong> The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments. <\/br><strong>14<\/strong> Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: <\/br><strong>15<\/strong> Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words. <\/br><strong>16<\/strong> At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. <\/br><strong>17<\/strong> Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. <\/br><strong>18<\/strong> And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. <\/br><strong>19<\/strong> Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus. <\/br><strong>20<\/strong> Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick. <\/br><strong>21<\/strong> Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren. <\/br><strong>22<\/strong> The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you.
