Some of us are dealing with unemployment. Some are going to work, knowing that job cuts will happen but do not know if they will be in the group that will be laid off. Some of us face other battles like loneliness, betrayal, depression, obsession, illness. The possibilities are numerous. But I\u2019m here to tell you for the believers of God The Father, for the believers of Jesus Christ the Son (our Savior), the adversity is but a minute and the outcome is favorable to us who believe.<\/p>\n<p>The bible shares many promises our Lord God has made to us, the children of Zion (Israel), the children of Abraham (<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/http:\/\/www.accesstogod.com\/salvation_frequently_asked_questions.htm\" title=\"Salvation FAQs\">those who confess Jesus as Lord and Savior<\/a>). And before I share a specific scripture, understand that many times people fuss over whether to take scripture literally or figuratively. And even in taking it figuratively many misinterpret the meaning. But the verses I will share, no matter how interpreted are loaded with the unshakable, unstoppable promise of victory and protection by God and granted to us that are saved (believers that Jesus Christ is our Access To God). Here is <strong>Isaiah 54<\/strong>, followed by my interpretation of God\u2019s uplifting words:<\/p>\n<p><strong><font color=\"#800080\">Isaiah 54<\/font><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><font color=\"#000000\">1 &#8220;Sing, O barren woman,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 you who never bore a child;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 burst into song, shout for joy,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 you who were never in labor;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 because more are the children of the desolate woman<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 than of her who has a husband,&#8221;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 says the LORD.<br \/>\n\u00a02 &#8220;Enlarge the place of your tent,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 stretch your tent curtains wide,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 do not hold back;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 lengthen your cords,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 strengthen your stakes.<br \/>\n\u00a03 For you will spread out to the right and to the left;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 your descendants will dispossess nations<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and settle in their desolate cities.<br \/>\n\u00a04 &#8220;Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 You will forget the shame of your youth<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.<br \/>\n\u00a05 For your Maker is your husband\u2014<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the LORD Almighty is his name\u2014<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 he is called the God of all the earth.<br \/>\n\u00a06 The LORD will call you back<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit\u2014<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 a wife who married young,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 only to be rejected,&#8221; says your God.<br \/>\n\u00a07 &#8220;For a brief moment I abandoned you,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 but with deep compassion I will bring you back.<br \/>\n\u00a08 In a surge of anger<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I hid my face from you for a moment,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 but with everlasting kindness<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I will have compassion on you,&#8221;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 says the LORD your Redeemer.<br \/>\n\u00a09 &#8220;To me this is like the days of Noah,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 So now I have sworn not to be angry with you,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 never to rebuke you again.<br \/>\n\u00a010 Though the mountains be shaken<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and the hills be removed,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 nor my covenant of peace be removed,&#8221;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 says the LORD, who has compassion on you.<br \/>\n\u00a011 &#8220;O afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I will build you with stones of turquoise, [a]<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 your foundations with sapphires. [b]<br \/>\n\u00a012 I will make your battlements of rubies,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 your gates of sparkling jewels,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and all your walls of precious stones.<br \/>\n\u00a013 All your sons will be taught by the LORD,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and great will be your children&#8217;s peace.<br \/>\n\u00a014 In righteousness you will be established:<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tyranny will be far from you;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 you will have nothing to fear.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Terror will be far removed;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 it will not come near you.<br \/>\n\u00a015 If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 whoever attacks you will surrender to you.<br \/>\n\u00a016 &#8220;See, it is I who created the blacksmith<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 who fans the coals into flame<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and forges a weapon fit for its work.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 And it is I who have created the destroyer to work havoc;<br \/>\n\u00a017 no weapon forged against you will prevail,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and this is their vindication from me,&#8221;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 declares the LORD.<\/font><\/strong><br \/>\nIn reading <strong>Isaiah 54<\/strong>, understand that God is saying that even though we face trials, that we must believe in His promise. He is saying that it may seem that He has abandoned us because things look, feel, sound so bad but He is right there beside us, over us, and in us at ALL times.\u00a0 He is omnipresent. <strong>Isaiah 54:1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>suggest we sing out of joy, even during the midst of a storm. <em>&#8220;Sing, O barren woman,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 you who never bore a child;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 burst into song, shout for joy,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 you who were never in labor;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 because more are the children of the desolate woman<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 than of her who has a husband,&#8221;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 says the LORD\u00a0<br \/>\n<\/em>Read the following verses to understand why. <strong>Isaiah 54:3<\/strong> tells us that we need to raise our level of expectancy. Stretch our faith, our minds because God is doing things our minds can not fathom.<\/p>\n<p><em>3 For you will spread out to the right and to the left;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 your descendants will dispossess nations<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and settle in their desolate cities.<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Isaiah 54:5<\/strong> says the Lord is our Husband.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<em>5 For your Maker is your husband\u2014<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the LORD Almighty is his name\u2014<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 he is called the God of all the earth.<\/em><br \/>\nIn other words, He is our provider. He will take care of us. Yes, I know you may be suffering financially. But the job and paycheck are vehicles, tools that God uses to bless you so you may bless others. So trust in the Lord. For He just told you in <strong>Isaiah 54:5<\/strong> that He is your husband, your provider! Amen!\u00a0 <strong>Verse 54: 9<\/strong> <strong>and 10<\/strong> God is telling us He will never rebuke us again. Read <strong>verses 11-15<\/strong>. These are powerful scriptures. God is saying yes you will go through storms, but they will be used to shape you, to strengthen you, to redirect you. And after the storm, the Lord God will build you up so that you are better than you were before the storm. Everything (good or bad) is used for the betterment of His kingdom. He even says your children\u2019s peace will be great. Since I\u2019m a mother, I love God\u2019s promise that my childrens\u2019 peace will be great. I believe it and know His word can not return void! Isaiah 54:15 tells us that if you are attacked it is not by God. But God will make your attacker suffer. 15 If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 whoever attacks you will surrender to you.<br \/>\n<strong>Isaiah 54:17<\/strong> no weapon formed against you will prevail. God is telling you that any tongue that accuses you, or starts lies and rumors, any gossip said about you, you will prove them to be wrong! God says in <strong>verse 17<\/strong> that these promises and blessings and protection are inherited by His servants, the saved Christians.<\/p>\n<p><em>17 no weapon forged against you will prevail,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and this is their vindication from me,&#8221;<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 declares the LORD.<br \/>\n<\/em>To experience these promises firsthand, you must believe that Jesus Christ is your only Access To God. If you do not believe it, then all these promises do not belong to you!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Let me encourage you to be strong during the storms. Be faithful! Look to God as your husband your provider! Because He told you He is. Know that He will never forsake you! Know that your enemies will suffer, know that you will prevail! In Jesus mighty, powerful, redeeming, enlightening, loving, perfect, Holy, majestic, overcoming, victorious name!
