1 My son, forget not my teaching, and let thy heart observe my commandments; 2 for length of days, and

1 My son, if thou receivest my words, and layest up my commandments with thee, 2 so that thou incline

1 My son, if thou hast become surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand for a stranger,

1 My son, attend unto my wisdom, incline thine ear to my understanding; 2 that thou mayest keep reflection, and

1 My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. 2 Keep my commandments, and live; and

1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding give forth her voice? 2 On the top of high places by the
