Prayer For The Sick

God’s word is extremely powerful in overcoming illnesses that plague us. In an effort to give you the most relevant scripture, we have provided Prayer For The Sick in two forms. The first form is for people who are saved. The second form is for sickly people who are not saved or perhaps you are not sure about their status of salvation.

Prayer For The Sick (Who Are Saved)

Prayer For The Sick (Who Are Saved)Father God Almighty who sits in heaven on high, we love you and adore you and thank you for the abundant promises you have given us through Your Holy Word and through the act of salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Father because of your perfection, love, grace, and mercy, you gave us Jesus our direct access to you Father God. Because of You and Jesus’s sacrifice we have possession in the Earth of everything you said in the bible. Father God we believe your Word. We believe every consonant, vowel, punctuation to be your inspired word for us. We believe your word to be spirit and that through Jesus’s deeds, your love and your word that whatever we, as saved Christians confess with our mouths is true.
Proverbs 4:20-22
“My Son, attend to My words; incline thine ear unto My sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health (Lit. medicine) to all their flesh.”

And Father, we know that your word never returns void.
Isaiah 55:11 says
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

So Father we thank you for that. And although we know Jesus paid the price for our sins, we still must confess our sins to you so that we may be forgiven. So today Father I am asking for forgiveness of anything I have done to displease you. And I am forgiving those who have wronged me or my loved ones. Father God I ask that you help me to walk away from temptation and that my heart, mind, and soul are pure (pure to receive the abundant blessings such as healing). And Lord God, I am standing in agreement with you as a saved Christian and steward of your kingdom, that I AM HEALED! For your word says

Mark 11:24
“Therefore I say to you whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
Deuteronomy 7:15
“And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.”
Mark 16:17-18
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name . . . they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
Psalm 34:19
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.”
Jeremiah 30:17
“For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, saith the Lord.”
Jeremiah 33:6
“Behold, I will bring you health and cure, and I will cure you, and will reveal unto you the abundance of peace and truth.”
Psalm 103:2-3
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who heals all thy diseases”
Exodus 23:25
“So you shall serve (worship) the Lord your God and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.”
Luke 10:19
“Behold, I give unto you power (authority) to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

I believe you Lord God, for you are Lord Alone. You reign supreme. I love you and Jesus. I declare victory over this ailment. It is done. The battle is won. In Jesus mighty name! Amen

Prayer For The Sick (Who May Not Be Saved)

Father God, we love you so much. You are so perfect and so kind. God, thank you for everything. Thank you Father for blessing us even when we are not saved (for your love, mercy, grace, endures forever). We know that we are not worthy but that you have offered these gifts because you are Alpha and Omega. There is noone like you. You are our provider, our comforter. You give us strength in the midst of our sorrows. Thank you for never turning your back on us. Thank you for never forsaking us. Thank you Father, for Jesus Christ. And thank you Jesus for carrying out the will of Father God, even though you yourself were tempted, you did not fall to sin. Father God we ask that you touch either the person reading this prayer or the person for whom this prayer is being read. Touch their hearts so that they know you are real. Touch them with love and support that they won’t be able to handle. They will have to say there is a God supreme (the God of love, grace, mercy no matter the condition). Father God, we ask that anyone who is not saved be led to salvation. Help them to see that perhaps their ailment, their affliction is an opportunity to get one step closer to you. Help them to see that your word says that the only true access to you is through Jesus Christ. Lord God, help them to submit to your love. Help them to understand that without accepting Jesus Christ as your begotten son who came to earth to die on the cross for our sins, was resurrected to be in heaven with you so that all of us could have eternal life spiritually, that without the acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior they are not saved. They will not live eternally spiritually. Help them to understand that they will not see their loved ones when it is time for their spirits to leave their bodies if they do not accept you and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. But father, even if they do not, we are standing here today on their behalf. We will intercede for them, for they may be too sick to do so. So Father God we know that through Jesus Christ’s stripes we are all healed. We also know that your word is like no other. For your word is true and powerful. So we stand on behalf of anyone sick that they are HEALED in Jesus mighty name. We know that your word can not return void. So we use it today to declare and decree that satan must go NOW! In Jesus name. Satan you must go now because this house, this dwelling place, this body is a house of the most High God and you, Satan, must go. No weapon formed against us will harm us. In Jesus name. See Satan we know who we wrestle against, flesh and principalities. But By the Blood of Jesus, you must go. NOW! You will leave this place, we cast you out Satan. We rebuke you in the mighty name of Jesus. For God’s word says in:
Jeremiah 30:17
“For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, saith the Lord.”

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment YOU shall condemn. This is the heritage (birthright) of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the LORD.”
