1 As the former time made light The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, So the latter hath

1 And Jehovah saith unto me, `Take to thee a great tablet, and write upon it with a graving tool

1 And it cometh to pass in the days of Ahaz, son of Jotham, son of Uzziah, king of Judah,

1 And thou hast said in that day: `I thank thee, O Jehovah, Though Thou hast been angry with me,

1 And a rod hath come out from the stock of Jesse, And a branch from his roots is fruitful.

1 Because Jehovah loveth Jacob, And hath fixed again on Israel, And given them rest on their own land, And
