Tempted To Cheat On Your Partner? James 1:12-16

Tuesday, December 1, 2015
By

Are you tempted to cheat on your girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse? Are you willing to throw away a blessing? Is the lust of your flesh worth it? Many have done it and regretted it. If you go through with it, eventually your partner will find out. If they decide to stay with you after you are caught (yes you will get caught), things will NEVER be the same. In other words, if you cheat, it will be the death of the current relationship you have (even if the two of you stay together). Is it worth it? I doubt it.

The Bible tells us in James 1:12-16 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

Don’t do it my friend. You will regret it!

Don’t Let Pictures Of Happy Couples On Facebook Get You Down

Friday, October 23, 2015

There is no such thing as a perfect couple. I’m amazed at how much perpetrating people do on Facebook and other social media.

It’s kind of funny to see people change their status and/or post happy pics of their significant other when I know everything is not so perfect. I’ve seen men post pics of their wives only to inbox or poke someone on facebook. I see so many single women warning married men to stop inboxing them or they will let their wives and the world know about their shady behavior.

I’ve also seen many boast of their significant other yet their significant other is not boasting about them. Next thing you know, they are no longer together or the relationship is complicated.

I said all that because if you are single and haven’t met “THE ONE” and you see so many so called happy couples, it may bring you down. But don’t let it. Or you may already be married and have experienced so many problems with your relationship that the happy pics on facebook make you sad. Don’t’ let it!

Don’t believe the hype. There is no such thing as a perfect relationship.

Every relationship will be tested. One thing is for sure, nothing stays the same. There are so many ways and times that relationships are challenged. For starters, all relationships will include disagreements. All relationships get tested by things like unemployment, health issues, the addition of children, difficult in-laws, etc.

Even if things are wonderful in a relationship, life will bring its challenges. So don’t get down if you don’t have the relationship that many people pre-tend to have on social media. Just keep preparing yourself for “THE ONE” so that you’ll be better equipped to handle the inevitable issues that come with relationships.

Is Your Family Ready For Catastrophe? #NatlPrep

Thursday, September 17, 2015
By

Whether you believe in The Four Blood Moons, Biblical Prophecy often taught by Perry Stone and Irvin Baxter, or any chatter of doom on the internet, three facts remain 1:Chile experienced an 8.3 magnitude earthquake 2. California is being consumed by wildfires 3. September 30th is National PrepareAthon Day.

Disaster can happen at any time and anywhere. But if it did, would you be ready? Do you know how much water you should have on hand for each person in your household? Where would your family meet in the event of a catastrophe? Have you considered how you’d handle your pets? Are there any disabled people in your family? Where would your family meet in the city? Where would your family meet outside the city? How would you communicate your whereabouts? If you rated yourself on how prepared you are today, what would your score be?

By September 23, let’s make a point to implement all the tips at http://www.ready.gov/. Make sure you have their suggestion of basic supplies needed. Be sure to have your supply kits in all three relevant places home, work, and your vehicle.

Let’s be prepared for the good, bad, and ugly in life.
I intend to live up to the meaning of my name “She Who Is Prepared”. I encourage you to do the same. If you want to claim Jesus as your Lord and Savior watch these videos on salvation. #NatlPrep

Remember Left Handed People In The Bible This Left Handers Day #LeftHandersDay

Thursday, August 13, 2015

Hey, as we celebrate, embrace, rejoice on our National Left Handers’ Day, let’s remember even God finds use of us in the Bible.

God used Ehud, a left handed man, to deliver Israel out of Eglon’s (king of Moab) power. Eglon had ruled over Israel for 18 years prior to the southpaw killing him. See Judges 3:12-28.

God also used ambidextrous men to help David as he prepared to take over Saul’s kingdom in 1 Chronicles 12:1-2. These men could sling stones or shoot arrows with their left hand as well as their right. This is cool as I’m somewhat ambidextrous myself. 🙂

Notice, these left handed men mentioned in the Bible were fighters, warriors. It remains true today that we southpaws have to possess a certain fighting type spirit to live in such a right handed world.

Here’s a list of other left handed people God has used to bless the world with their gifts, talents, and skills:

Presidents:
Barack Obama
Bill Clinton
George H.W. Bush
Ronald Reagan

Business Men and Women:
Bill Gates
Oprah Winfrey

Athletes:
James Harden
Manny Pacquiao
Deion Sanders
Ken Griffey, Jr.
John McEnroe
Chris Bosh
Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Actors and Actresses:
Whoopi Goldberg
Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt
Julia Roberts

Scientists:
Einstein
Newton

Happy Left Hander’s Day my fellow southpaws.

Trust In The Lord

Monday, November 3, 2014
By

Let’s remember to thank God for another day, another opportunity to serve Him, love Him, and trust Him (especially when it seems we have no control over a situation).

This reminds me of Fred Hammond’s song “I Will Trust”

Remember the bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Have a great day friend.

Hope For Anyone With Cancer, Let’s Rebuke It In Jesus Name!

For anyone diagnosed with cancer, or anyone waiting on results for cancer, know that God is on your side!
I want you to listen to the video below of the song “God’s On Your Side” by the Mississippi Mass Choir featuring Le’Andria Johnson and Stan Jones. It will encourage you! But before you do that, let’s remember just Who our God is! He is Alpha and Omega! He reigns supreme! He’s created things. “…no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love Him”.

If things seem scary or negative, do not give up on God! There are miracles that occur everyday. I’ve also included a video of miraculous healing towards the bottom of this blog post.

Sister/brother in Christ, you must remember God has you and keeps you! You must think positive and believe! Lean on Psalm 27 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

As you go through this, remember to get God’s attention with praise.
Psalm 34:1 “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

Remember the promises God made:
“Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Here is a video that shows a woman with Cancer being prayed for and her body responds:

Believe! You must simply believe!
He is an amazing God!

Feel free to call 24 hour prayer lines as well.
