Proverbs 11:24-25 Those Who Give Freely Will Prosper. Those That Don’t Give Will Be Poor

Tuesday, January 15, 2013

Give generously. Give freely. Give happily and watch the blessings chase after you.
But if you don’t give; if you only look to take and not give don’t expect God to bless you. In fact, be prepared to be poor in the end (if not already).

Proverbs 11:24-25

24 One person gives freely, yet gains even more;
another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.
25 A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

We reap what we sow.

You may be tired of always doing the right thing. But the bible says if we don’t stop doing the right thing, we will reap a harvest.

Galatians 6:9
9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

So know that your hard work and sacrifice is being noticed by God. He has not forsaken you!

At the right time, God will produce your harvest!

Remember God is your source of provision and prosperity. And if God gave up His own Son for our sake, then imagine what God will freely give us. All we have to do is believe in Him, His promises, and take action.

Deuteronomy 8:18
18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

Romans 8:32
32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

Your Blessings Start With Your Giving – Luke 6:38

Thursday, January 10, 2013
By

If you want to prosper, you must first help others prosper. Your blessings start with your giving. We are not strictly talking money. You can give your time, your ear, clothes, food, talents, and of course money. But before you ask for a blessing, ask yourself are YOU a blessing to someone else.

Luke 6:38
38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

We all want to be successful. Everyone wants to prosper. But are you willing to take the time to seek wisdom and direction by studying and obeying God’s word?

The bible tells us that if we want to ensure success, we must study and meditate the word of God and we must obey it.

Joshua 1:7-8

7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. 8 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.

PROSPERITY: Avoid Mistakes When Striving For Success – 2 Chronicles 26: 5,16,19-21

Saturday, January 5, 2013
By

As we strive for success and start to see the fruit of our labor, let’s not make the mistakes of king Uzziah. Instead learn from his mistakes of forgetting God and exalting himself. STAY HUMBLE!
2 Chronicles 26: 5,16, 19-21

5 He sought God during the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the fear[a] of God. As long as he sought the Lord, God gave him success.

16 But after Uzziah became powerful, his pride led to his downfall. He was unfaithful to the Lord his God, and entered the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of incense.

19 Uzziah, who had a censer in his hand ready to burn incense, became angry. While he was raging at the priests in their presence before the incense altar in the Lord’s temple, leprosy[a] broke out on his forehead. 20 When Azariah the chief priest and all the other priests looked at him, they saw that he had leprosy on his forehead, so they hurried him out. Indeed, he himself was eager to leave, because the Lord had afflicted him.

21 King Uzziah had leprosy until the day he died. He lived in a separate house[b]—leprous, and banned from the temple of the Lord. Jotham his son had charge of the palace and governed the people of the land.
