Prosperity

Prosperity Starts With Blessing Others – Genesis 12:3

Thursday, January 3, 2013
By

It’s the beginning of 2013. We all have set goals to prosper in some area of our lives. But make sure to bless others with a genuine purpose of Christian love. Bless them without expecting something in return.
One by one, little by little, if we all do this, the world will be a better place.

God’s word gives us an example of His promise to Father Abraham. As Christians we are the spiritual seed of Father Abraham and therefore are entitled to the same promise Father God made to Abraham. As saved Christians, it is part of our inheritance. So feed on the following words of God:

Genesis 12:3
3 I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.

PROSPERITY: You’ve Been Told To Propser, Made To Prosper, Have What It Takes To Prosper

As we start 2013 with goals to accomplish, remember you’ve been instructed to prosper, made to prosper and have the tools to prosper:

Genesis 1:28-30

28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so.

God Wants Us To Prosper in 2013 – 3 John 1:2

Hello my friend. 2013 is going to be a fabulous year! As you embark upon your dreams, go forward knowing and believing that God truly wants us to prosper.

3 John 1:2
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Continue to dream, believe, and carry God’s word with you on your journey.

For the dreamers, listen to this song by Shirley Murdock, “The Dream That Would Not Die”. It’s an older song that still applies.

Make it a wonderful year. Let your light shine!

My Plea To The Men- Where Are The Men? Why Aren’t They In Church? Why Aren’t They The Church?- WE NEED YOU!

Monday, September 17, 2012
By

Alright men, why aren’t you in the church? Don’t you realize you are our leaders? How can you effectively lead if you are not getting wisdom from the Word of God?

Every wise leader will seek wisdom and not just blindly lead and give out commands. Why do you think the head coach of a football team has assistant coaches? The same is true for basketball coaches.

How do you truly recognize your enemy when he/she comes in so many disguises? How are you able to project the best offense if you are not equipped to read the enemy’s defense and attacks against you?
The Word of God gives you discernment. So when was the last time you read it?

How do you fight temptations against you, your marriage, your family, and your life if you don’t spend time with the Word of God and hearing God by going to church and being the church?

Aren’t you tired of doing things the hard way (your way)? Are you humble enough to seek wisdom? Can you admit that sometimes you could use a little help in life?

Do you understand the importance of your presence in the church, in the community, in society?
The truth is WE NEED YOU. We need you to stand up and be a MAN; one that seeks wisdom, one that understands he is no less by serving his loved ones and his community. After all, Jesus gives the
ultimate example in John 13:13-17 when he washes the disciples’ feet (knowing HE was the master and they were the servants all along). Because Jesus was secure in his role as master, he was able to serve.

John 13:13-17
Amplified Bible (AMP)

13 You call Me the Teacher (Master) and the Lord, and you are right in doing so, for that is what I am.

14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher (Master), have washed your feet, you ought [it is your duty, you are under obligation, you owe it] to wash one another’s feet.

15 For I have given you this as an example, so that you should do [in your turn] what I have done to you.

16 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, A servant is not greater than his master, and no one who is sent is superior to the one who sent him.

17 If you know these things, blessed and happy and [a]to be envied are you if you practice them [if you act accordingly and really do them].

Now understand that the church is you. You are the church. So what’s in your church? What’s in you? It should be the Word of God.
Romans 10:17
King James Version (KJV)

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The faith you need to launch that business or to accomplish your dream comes by reading the Word of God. The faith it takes to land that next job or to be the leader of that family is built up by you reading the Word of God.
And doesn’t every successful leader seek wisdom? Can’t you do that by listening to sermons online, visiting a physical church from time to time, and listening to Christian radio stations?
Noone is perfect. Noone expects you to physically attend church every Sunday, Wednesday, or Saturday. We understand there’s football on Sundays.
But recognize how valuable you are. The enemy does. That’s why he takes joy when you don’t equip yourself to fight daily battles by reading the Word of God. That’s how the enemy is able to come in and wreak havoc on your relationships, your finances, and your life. Don’t make it so easy for the enemy.
Get empowered. Read the Word Of God. Listen to Christian sermons online, on tv, on the radio. And from time to time, actually visit a physical church with an open spirit, mind, and soul.

Don’t let that pastor asking you for money, stop you from receiving the Word of God. Don’t let the words in the Bible that you don’t understand stop you. I wasn’t raised in the church. I didn’t know the structure of the Bible. But after life beat the Hell out of me, I had no choice but to take baby steps and learn how to read the bible. Today there are so many tools and versions of the Bible to help all of us understand the scripture in the Bible (such as The Bible Gateway). Don’t let the lack of knowledge about the Bible or Christianity stop you. I didn’t. The truth is neither you or I have an excuse.
Your family needs you. Your very destiny depends on it.

Everything you need to be the best is already inside you. It’s called the Holy Spirit. Isn’t it time to wake up that spirit? Isn’t it time to renew that spirit? Isn’t it time to go to the next level?

This is a plea to men. Where are you? WE NEED YOU! It’s time!

Bill Winston Declares We Are Entering A Season of Recompense- The Lord Will Repay All That The Enemy Has Stolen From Us

Sunday, April 19, 2009
By

I am so thankful that Bill Winston Ministries stream their Sunday services so that people who are not in the Chicago, Illinois area can view his services. They are always uplifting and scripturally based.

Sunday, April 19, Pastor Winston prophesized that we (The Body of Christ) are entering a season of recompense. Lord God will repay us of all things the enemy has stolen from us. Pastor Winston even goes as far as to say we will be repaid for things taken or denied from our parents and grandparents. He says even going back 10 generations. Hallelujah!

As usual, Pastor Winston always provides scripture for his words. His prophecy is based on what God has put on his heart and the scripture in

Hebrews 10:30 which says:
“30For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.”

Pastor Winston also referenced Isaiah 60:1-5 which says:
“1Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

2For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

3And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

4Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

5Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.” (King James Version)

Here is the New Living Translation of the same scripture:
1 “Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see.
For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you.
2 Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth,
but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you.
3 All nations will come to your light;
mighty kings will come to see your radiance.
4 “Look and see, for everyone is coming home!
Your sons are coming from distant lands;
your little daughters will be carried home.
5 Your eyes will shine,
and your heart will thrill with joy,
for merchants from around the world will come to you.
They will bring you the wealth of many lands.

Pastor Winston also references:

Isaiah 61:1-3
1The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

2To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

3To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Of course these blessings are for those who are saved, born again, people who believed that Jesus Christ on the cross took on the burden of sin, died on the cross, then rose to be with God The Father so that we will live eternally spiritually.
