1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, And lay up my commandments with thee; 2 So as to

1 My son, forget not my law; But let thy heart keep my commandments: 2 For length of days, and

1 Hear, `my’ sons, the instruction of a father, And attend to know understanding: 2 For I give you good

1 My son, attend unto my wisdom; Incline thine ear to my understanding: 2 That thou mayest preserve discretion, And

1 My son, if thou art become surety for thy neighbor, If thou hast stricken thy hands for a stranger;

1 My son, keep my words, And lay up my commandments with thee. 2 Keep my commandments and live; And
