1 God, having of old time spoken unto the fathers in the prophets by divers portions and in divers manners,

1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things that were heard, lest haply we drift

1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, `even’ Jesus;

1 Let us fear therefore, lest haply, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you

1 For every high priest, being taken from among men, is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that

1 Wherefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on unto perfection; not laying again
