Access To God – Through Jesus Christ

As I get up this morning, reminiscing about people who have tried to hurt me one way or another, I’m filled with joy because I know I’m covered by the blood.

As I think about challenges with my health, I’m still filled with joy because of the power of the blood. Hallelujah

I sit here smiling because I’ve been told “No” many times about many things. I’ve been lied to. People have tried to dig ditches for me, but I know, that I know, that I KNOW the shed blood of Jesus Christ covers me and my home. My kids are covered by the blood AMEN! My family is covered by the blood AMEN! My job is covered by the blood AMEN! My body is covered by the blood AMEN! My mind, my soul all covered by the blood AMEN!

Friend, I tell you no matter what you are dealing with, no matter what adversity comes your way, I’m a witness His Blood Still Works! Hallelujah!

I’m so glad Father God is not expecting us to be perfect. That is why He sent His only begotten Son to be slaughtered and hung on the cross. But Jesus resurrection proved he was the Son Of God. His blood was shed for you and for me.

Life can be tough at times. Sometimes it’s brutal. But it is crucial during those times that you remember and continue to put on the armor of God.

Ephesians 6:10-18
10 Finally, let the Lord make you strong. Depend on his mighty power.
11 Put on all of God’s armor. Then you can stand firm against the devil’s evil plans.
12 Our fight is not against human beings. It is against the rulers, the authorities and the powers of this dark world. It is against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly world.
13 So put on all of God’s armor. Evil days will come. But you will be able to stand up to anything. And after you have done everything you can, you will still be standing.
14 So stand firm. Put the belt of truth around your waist. Put the armor of godliness on your chest. 15 Wear on your feet what will prepare you to tell the good news of peace.
16 Also, pick up the shield of faith. With it you can put out all of the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17 Put on the helmet of salvation. And take the sword of the Holy Spirit. The sword is God’s word.
18 At all times, pray by the power of the Spirit. Pray all kinds of prayers. Be watchful, so that you can pray. Always keep on praying for all of God’s people.

At some point in our lives we all have to deal with loneliness, sadness, and possibly depression.
It is tempting to indulge in things that ultimately can do harm to ourselves and our bodies.

Personally as I grow in my faith walk, I find the quickest and most fulfilling way for me to get out of a state of loneliness or sadness is to simply praise and thank God in the middle of my storm.
Praising God doesn’t have to be formal or pretty. It can involve shouting to God or crying out to Him. You do what you have to do to fight through the negative and toxic emotions while leaning on God. But you fight through it while giving God praise for who He is and for Him being there to see you through the battle.
Does God need our praise? No. But I can tell you it most certainly gets His attention when you can thank Him and love on Him even though you are struggling with something like loneliness or a broken heart.

You can praise God anywhere and anytime and He will hear you. Hallelujah! Praise Him on the way to work. Praise Him in the shower. Praise Him anywhere when you are in your darkest hour. All you simply have to do is praise Him and He’ll see you through. I’m a witness.
And you will find after minutes of genuine praise of Father God, you will feel better.
And the more you repeat your praise in the days or even weeks to come, the loneliness, sadness, and depression will be forced to move off of you. Hallelujah!

The victory is yours as a believer in Father God and Jesus Christ! Amen to that!
