I believe it is important to laugh and smile as often as you can. It is very easy for me to find ways to make myself laugh. But it is refreshing to be able to use the internet as a source of material that can make us smile. So this posting is light on scripture but hopefully will brighten your day. As always, God Bless!

Are you ready for the return of Jesus Christ? We all need to be honest with ourselves. There definitely are things I need to work on, but I can say that I am saved. My salvation does not require me to be perfect or sinless. That is impossible. But it does require that I believe that Jesus exists, that he died on the cross, and was resurrected. Do you want to live on once your physical body perishes? Do you want to be with your loved ones and friends when God allows your life (as you know it) to end on Earth? I would like to encourage you to become saved if you are not. And if you are saved, there is nothing wrong with re-committing yourself to Christ. Remember Jesus is the only true access to God.

So again, I ask, are you really ready for the return of Jesus Christ (the rapture).

I know I am not alone in noticing challenges intensify as you set out to do good. In fact, I am tempted to judge my direction in life based on the number of obstacles that seem to come my way. If there are no obstacles, then I tend to think perhaps I am not on the right course. These obstacles come during small goals that I am trying to achieve as well as larger goals.  As an example of a small goal, my Mother and I were trying to workout, something I have not done literally in months. This is something that will help me to relieve stress, and clear the clutter out of my mind. Well, we were successfully working out at my home for a good 10 minutes and suddenly, my cable went out. We were using FitTv to get our workout on, and for no reason the picture just froze. It remained that way for the rest of the day. Even calling out the “cable men” to fix it, did not solve the problem. And that is just one example. Let me give you another.

When financially I am starting to see the light after a divorce, a previous  stint of unemployment, and receiving a tax refund, out of nowhere not one but both of my A/C units stop working, which dealt a blow to my finances.

Yet, here is another example of an obstacle. As I was about to reach out to a reverend to see if he would be a guest blogger on this site, my internet was down. I needed the internet connection because I found the contact information for the reverend on a particular website. Without access to the internet,  I could not make contact with the reverend. 

It seems the pattern in my life is the more I attempt to do the right things, the more obstacles I face. Yet, I am pretty positive about it because I recognize the pattern and I know it just affirms I am on the right path. Not only that, I also know what or who is behind the spiritual warfare. God’s word says in

Ephesians 6:12

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

I also know that God is still God and that He uses everything (even the bad) for good. The Amplified Bible states in

Romans 8:28

We are assured and know that [^[a]God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.

We know God is our partner and that through the good and bad times we will prevail ultimately for God’s glory. 

Psalms 46:10-11 (Amplified Bible)

10Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth!
11The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our Refuge (our High Tower and Stronghold). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

So when I am “attacked”, I just keep in mind that God is in this with me for His kingdom’s sake. He is my partner in any battle. I am also comforted because He says His word can not return void. Don’t believe me? Check out what God says in

Isaiah 55:11

So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

In times of peril, we need to verbally speak God’s word (boldly, confidently) because He clearly says it can not return void. So I would like to share some scripture that you can speak out loud as you experience spiritual warfare. Why? Again, God’s word can not return void. I want to encourage you to read Psalm 23 below. At the end there is a cute video of a little girl reciting the same scripture. Enjoy!.

I felt it was imperative that I share the following prophecy I found today but was actually spoken May 18 at Living Word Christian Center in Forest Park, Illinois under Pastor Bill Winston. It is very timely for me personally because it came 3 days after I was laid off my “job”. So I am posting the spoken prophecy in it’s entirety without making any changes to it. These are not my words. And I can not tell from the website who was used by God to relay the message. But I do know this is a church under great and reputable leadership. Read it. Feed on it. And for some of you, this will be very timely and make sense. For others, you may need to let the words marinate for a season or two. And it could also mean the message is not for everyone. But since we have the internet which allows millions access to so much information, I feel it is important to share this as well. 11:15 a.m. Worship Service

My people, it has been five months since I spoke to you of things to come and I gave you instruction.  And to you now I say, to you, who know the value of obedience and know how to exercise diligence.  To you I say, the first phase of the manifestation of harvest is upon you now.  For your faithfulness is allowing me to do what I desire to do and to bring about my plans and my purposes, not only for this house, but for the world to which I have called you… to the world for which I have anointed you and to the world for which I am bringing wealth into your hands to use for my kingdom purposes.  And so to you now I say, stand!  Decree to the north and to the north say, release now!  Release the harvest that my words have assembled.  And to the south I say, to you turn to the south and stand and decree to the south, the highways of transference have been prepared.  Begin the wealth transfer now!  Begin, begin because my words have prepared the highway on which it may travel.  And to the east and to the west, to you my people I say, decree.  Open the floodgates and begin now to fill the storehouses.  And to your angels say, I command you now to go forth and I command you to both direct and to protect the first phase of these harvest manifestations.  See that no harm comes to them.  See that they go to their assigned places and see that every strategy, every plot, and every plan that the enemy has arrayed is destroyed.  And to those of you who let those things I said slip.  To those who neglected to do what I asked you to do.  To you I say, take heed unto yourselves, for instruction is for doing, and revelation is to bring forth manifestation, and storehouses are given to be filled.  And to all of you, my people I say, there is wisdom and revelation available to you now.  Revelation and wisdom concerning the harvest that will enable you to receive above and beyond even the thousand-fold that you thought was possible.  But wisdom is not given away freely in the streets and revelation is not to be abused.  It is not to be taken lightly.  But to those of you who have ears to hear and have a heart to obey and desire above all else to see my will and my plans and purposes to be brought to pass.  To you I say, press into me now for that revelation and that wisdom have been laid up just for you for such a time as this.  And I tell you, all harvests are not the same.  Indeed, but it takes wisdom and revelation to understand them and to know how to bring them forth.  But to you, I tell you now, it is available.  The choice is yours.  The choice is yours.  And I say to you, my people, make the right choice.
