1 Corinthians 13:4-13 4Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; 5love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; 6love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.

Luke 6:27 27But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

1 Peter 4:8 8 Above everything, love one another earnestly, because love covers over many sins.

Hebrews 13:1 1Keep on loving one another as Christians.

1 John 4:19 19We love because God first loved us.

John 15:12 12 My commandment is this: love one another, just as I love you.

Luke 10:27 27 The man answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind’; and ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’”

Deuteronomy 6:5 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

Mark 12:30 30Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’

John 15:17 17This, then, is what I command you: love one another.

1 Corinthians 16:14 14Do all your work in love.

1 John 4:16 16And we ourselves know and believe the love which God has for us. God is love, and those who live in love live in union with God and God lives in union with them.

Matthew 22:37 37 Jesus answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

1 John 4:12 12 No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God lives in union with us, and his love is made perfect in us.

2 John 1:6 6This love I speak of means that we must live in obedience to God’s commands. The command, as you have all heard from the beginning, is that you must all live in love.

Psalm 26:8 8I love the house where you live, O Lord , the place where your glory dwells.

2 Peter 1:7 7to your godliness add Christian affection; and to your Christian affection add love.

1 Corinthians 13:13 13Meanwhile these three remain: faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of these is love.

Ever Wondered What Your Gift Is? Here’s A Tool To Find Out Based On Romans 12:6-8

Thursday, July 25, 2013
By

We all have a purpose. That purpose uses our spiritual gifts. If you aren’t sure what your gifts are or perhaps you just want confirmation, I encourage you to take this quiz to find out:

http://mintools.com/spiritual-gifts-test.htm

Remember, we have been given instructions on what to do with our gifts in:

Romans 12:6-8
6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

By the way, the Spiritual Gifts Test confirmed my top gifts are: Mercy, Exhortation or Encouragement, and Prophecy. I agree with that assessment.

Get Ready, Be Ready, Stay Ready – Matthew 24:36-44, Matthew 24:8

Wednesday, June 5, 2013
By

I felt this strongly last night and want to share with you the following: Open your spiritual and physical eyes… Our steps are ordered. Everything, ever place, everyone, every experience is preparation for the next phase, step, task, journey, and ultimately life. Get ready. Be ready. Stay ready.

Noone knows when the Son of Man will return. But with such strange weather patterns and the various locations of earthquakes, I feel we are at least experiencing the birth pains. Matthew 24:8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Hear what Jesus says:
Matthew 24:36-44
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[f] but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

I’m thankful for our spiritual father Abraham for the blessings of the old covenant. I’m thankful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the spiritual blessings of the NEW covenant. The promises of both the old and NEW covenant are available to those who believe. We are covered by the blood and I’m eternally grateful for that. I love me some God and I love me some Jesus!!

If you want to experience the blessings of the Old and New Covenant, if you want to make sure you are covered by the blood, then pray these prayers of salvation:
