Our Thoughts

Achieving Top Notch Customer Service

One thing I do not appreciate is horrible customer service. I had a bad experience while attempting to purchase shoes for my children just last night. That store lost my business due to poor service.

I think if more people apply the scriptures below to their everyday lives, they will find they are happier and the people whose path’s they cross will be happier. This scripture can be used when dealing with co-workers, customers, strangers, friends, family, love ones and even your enemies. For me the following scriptures capture the core of my being. Enjoy:

Humble Servitude:

John 13: 13- 17 (Amplified)
13You call Me the Teacher (Master) and the Lord, and you are right in doing so, for that is what I am.
14If I then, your Lord and Teacher (Master), have washed your feet, you ought [it is your duty, you are under obligation, you owe it] to wash one another’s feet.
15For I have given you this as an example, so that you should do [in your turn] what I have done to you.
16I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, A servant is not greater than his master, and no one who is sent is superior to the one who sent him.
17If you know these things, blessed and happy and [a]to be envied are you if you practice them [if you act accordingly and really do them].

Matthew 20:26-28 (Amplified)
26Not so shall it be among you; but whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant,
27And whoever desires to be first among you must be your slave–
28Just as the Son of Man came not to be waited on but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many [the price paid to set them free].

1 Peter 5:6
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

Philippians 2:8-10 (Amplified)
8And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!
9Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has [a]freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name,
10That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee [b]should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
