Slim Thug + Joel Osteen = “Chuuch”

If we all get off our high horses, and remain open to who and what God uses to speak to us, we just might receive a blessing.

I like how Slim Thug strategically weaves snippets of Joel Osteen in his latest release “Chuuch” to speak wisdom to those who are open to receive it.

As a native Houstonian and a woman constantly trying to carry out the faith walk, I had to make a post about it.

In the video below, you’ll hear some pearls of wisdom such as the following from Joel Osteen and Slim Thug ( @slimthugga ):
“There are people God has already ordained to come across our path to help us fulfill our destiny.” –Joel Osteen
“If you’re spending time with the wrong people, you’ll never meet the right ones.” — Joel Osteen
“You can’t hang out with chickens and expect to soar with eagles.” — Joel Osteen
“You’re going to become like the people you continually associate with.” — Joel Osteen

“Trying to line up with them bosses. Trying to soar high with them eagles. Can’t chill with none of you chickens. I’m trying to get rich with my peoples.” — Slim Thug
“Thanking God all the time for helping me live my dreams. And for exposing all of those who wasn’t right for my team.” — Slim Thug

“I put God first and went and got it.” — Slim Thug
“If you ain’t trying to get better, better move around.” — Slim Thug

“Being by myself, I’m at peace. I’m too old to be out in these streets. I got to take care of my kids. I ain’t got time to have beef.” — Slim Thug
“I ain’t trying to block my blessings. So I listen to God when He speaks.” –Slim Thug

“Chuuch” ends with Joel Osteen making a strong point “Bottom line, don’t hold on to what God is asking you to walk away from.” — Joel Osteen
“If you’re always giving and never receiving, that’s an unhealthy relationship. You need to gradually make a change.” –Joel Osteen.
