If We Ignore Poverty, God Will Ignore Our Cries For Help In Times Of Need-Proverbs 21:13

No matter where we are in life (whether we are financially well off or not), God expects us to help those who are in need.

To do otherwise is an insult to God and is no different than us not helping God Himself.

Proverbs 21:13
13Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

Proverbs 19:17
17 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD,
and he will reward them for what they have done.

Proverbs 22:9
9 The generous will themselves be blessed,
for they share their food with the poor.

1 John 3:17-18
17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
