Unemployed? Feed On These Scriptures
Know that God will deliver you:
Psalm 34:19
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.”
But do not operate out of fear, for God is still God and is still with you:
Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
If God takes care of the little things and creatures of the earth, surely He will take care of you:
Luke 12:22-31
22Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. 23Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. 24Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! 25Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? 26Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? 27“Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 28If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! 29And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. 30For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
Know that God wants you to prosper:
3 John 1:2
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Put your trust in the Lord
Mark 11:22-23
“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
Nahum 1:7,9b
“The LORD is good, astronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him…. He will make an utter end of it. Affliction will not rise up a second time.”
Believe that what you ask for you will receive:
Mark 11:24
“Therefore I say to you whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
Matthew 7:7-8
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
I John 5:14-15
“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”
2 Corinthians 1:20
“For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”
Pray using God’s word because God is listening and watching and His word can not return to Him void:
Jeremiah 1:12
“. . . . I am alert and active watching over My Word to perform it.”
Isaiah 55:11
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
John 15:7
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”
