Another Layer Of Protection From Diseases Like Ebola, H1N1, HIV/AIDS, Etc
Of course when it comes to diseases we want to take all measures of protection that are offered. We want to do anything we can to prevent us from getting sick. Anything health officials suggest, needs to be done.
But I also want to emphasize we have another layer of protection available to all of us, and that’s Jesus and the Word of God. In Exodus 12, God tells Moses about the importance of the sacrificial blood of the blemish free lamb, and how it would be used as a sign to God not to bring a plague against the families whose doors were covered by the blood of the lamb.
Exodus 12:13
13 The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.
All truth is parallel. Today, we have that same layer of protection with the shed blood of our Savior Jesus Christ (as long as we are saved).
When you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord, your Savior, you not only have access to God, but you have access to all the promises of protection, health, wealth, provision, and more that are in God’s Word.
So I encourage anyone who has not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior to do so NOW! Time is short. The world is getting more and more out of balance. It’s hard to deny the signs of us being in the end times and the promised return of Jesus Christ.
Even if you previously accepted Jesus into your heart but you have not been operating as God wants you too, you should re-dedicate your heart NOW!
I am not perfect. So whenever a preacher invites people to Christ, I seize the opportunity even though I’ve been saved for years. You can never give your heart to God too many times.
You have a purpose, a destiny. Re-align your heart with Jesus today!
